Bakels Cake Mix is a rich caramel mud cake of professional quality. Perfect for baking and decorating.
Ingredients: Sugar, Wheat Flour, maltodextrin, vegetable fat (vegetable oil), emulsifiers (471, 477), soy antioxidant (320), potato flour, salt, milk solids, flavour, raising agents (450, 500), malt extract, colour (102, 124).
To make a 6" Cake with 500g of cake mix:
500g mud Cake mix
120ml Canola Oil
100g milk Chocolate
1. Preheat oven to 160 degrees
2. Mix eggs, water & cake mix on low speed for 1 minute then on high speed for 2 minutes.
3. Melt together oil & chocolate, allow to cool for 5 minutes and add to cake mix
4.Beat on medium speed for 1 minute, do not over mix. Place in a 6" tin and bake for between 65 - 90 minutes. Test with a skewer until skewer clean.
5. Leave to cool in tin.
Do not overcook. Chocolate quantity can vary for preferred density & richness. Cooking times vary for larger tins. Cooking times vary with ovens. Always grease & paper line tines. Allow to cool in tins to acheive perfect shape.
